OJOP Accreditation Board Held the Scientific Journal Categorization Preparation Meeting

OJOP Accreditation Board held its second meeting online on 13/09/2024. Sub-commissions for the 10 Basic Science Areas determined in the previous meeting were established.

At the meeting,

  1. Completion of sub-commissions by the 3rd meeting date,
  2. Journal evaluation criteria will be carried out within the framework of previously determined criteria, and these criteria will be finalized in the 3rd meeting,
  3. For journal evaluation and index categorizations, the specific division of duties of the commission members according to the basic science fields of the journal will be left to the 3rd combination,
  4. The journal evaluation process will be postponed until after the commissions are formed, and this process will be completed by 25/09/2024,
  5. Following the voting and acceptance of the Draft Accreditation Directive, proposed by Atila Gül and prepared by the board, at the 3rd meeting, it will be presented to the OJOP General Assembly,
  6. It was unanimously decided that subsequent meetings would be held every two weeks at the same time on Wednesday.
